Congrats to Kerem Akdemir who successfully defended his masters thesis on the vulnerability of the New England power grid to sudden losses of wind power during extreme winter storms. Next up — Kerem will be continuing at NCSU for his PhD, working on part of the DOE-funded, PNNL led IM3 project.
